Coleen truly embodies the word teamwork. She is always willing to stay late not only to help her team but also the physicians and patients who benefit from her expertise. Physicians trust her judgment and appreciate her dedication to our department and the hospital.
She demonstrates care and compassion by connecting with patients and family members and she takes time to explain procedures in a way that she herself would want if she were the patient.
Coleen volunteers to represent our department at community and hospital events. She gets us all to participate in Mercy Cares toiletry collection, she participated in the Mercy Run and she sponsored a Christmas family. She keeps the energy alive for these events and helps us all be a part.
