Lynne is a true example of a team player. She always goes the extra mile for everyone on the unit. For example, when we are short a tech she will give baths, enter vital signs and I&Os for the techs. She will help other nurses with what ever they need even, such as starting an IV or giving a med. She is always doing whatever needs to be done in oder to make the patient's stay and families comfortable. Just the other day she transported her patient out by wheelchair. She was on her way back to the unit and saw a visitor with oxygen barely moving, so she approached that person and volunteered to take them where they needed to go. Once back on the unit a patient saw her with the wheelchair, so she transported that patient out as well. I am always hearing comments from visityors and employees about how nice Lynn is and how she is always willing to make time for them even when she is busy. She is also picking up extra shifts all the time to make sure we don't have to work short and you never hear her complaining about working too hard. We should all strive to be more like Lynne.
