Family met Erika at the lowest point in their lives which was the immenent passing of husband,Jerry. Erika was professional and her personal best was a combined skill. She is efficeitn, compassionate, intuitive, soothing and thorough. Handled Jerry wil such tenderness and gentleness!The defining moment was the last night, decisions regarding Hospice and all the other choices that come with it. Family assembled in the room, crying, sharing stories and laughing, Erika did her job but kept totally unintrusive. After the family left, Erika began a dialogue with me wanting to know all about our lives together. It helped me to step out of dispair. She talked to me and Jerry as if we were part of her family, yet she never lost touch with her excellent nursing skills.
