My father was admitted for an infection in the joint of his hand. Melinda was very friendly and made him comfortable and explained and helped answer any issues we had. My father had been given strong pain meds. He was hallucinating and very unruly for over a day. He is not like that when he is well. She was very kind and gentle with him. She kept her composure during all the unpleasant situations she was exposed to by my father (who again, didn't know what was happening) and an incident with my brother. After two days of stress and no sleep by our family, my brother got upset over a minor issue and raised his voice. Melinda stayed calm and handled the situation very professionally and with care and kindness. Melinda is the best nurse that my father has had, over the last 20 years.
Melinda is kind, caring, helpful, hard worker, and organized. I can say that she is an outstanding example of a Methodist employee and a true DAISY Nurse. Thank you, Melinda!
