Linda Willette is the most recent recipient of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses after being nominated by a patient’s daughter for her “caring and professional manner.”

In the nomination, the patient’s daughter described how Linda went “above and beyond” in keeping her mother and all members of the family informed about her condition.

“We feel very fortunate that she was our mother’s nurse,” she wrote. “Very seldom does one take the time to show such caring and compassion.”
