Lynnae is the calmest and most passionate teacher for our residents and new staff. She has excellent nursing skills and shares her knowledge of processing and troubleshooting. Lynnae mentors and coaches new staff to make them feel welcome. She teaches her students how to handle true emergencies with a steady hand and a clear mind.
Lynnae shows true compassion for both her patient's medical needs and her student's educational needs. Patient care and staff safety are always put first. She is the epitome of our RICE value system and always has a smile on her face.
Lynnae was asked what do you do when your patient is dying. She replied, "Tell them you love them and that you wouldn't want them to cross over knowing that they weren't loved".
A team player and an excellent resource for other staff. Lynnae is always helping her co-workers by covering a lunch, helping to check on an ambulance, giving medications or answering call lights. She never stops moving and our department is better because of Lynnae's dedication.
"I know my patients are in great hands. Seeing her come in for her shift is a blessing."
We've had the pleasure of working with her for several years and her work ethic has never changed. Lynnae always gives exceptional care.
