This last hospital stay was one of the best and most positive experiences. I can honestly say if Alicia hadn't been so kind, empathetic and understanding for my initial admittance, I may have gotten scared, become agitated and appeared irrational. She put me at ease and didn't patronize me or talk down to me. She listened! Her professionalism and compassion both combined made for the most positive admittance that I've ever had (AND I've had quite a few in my past). Alicia listened to my concerns and feelings and did her job, but went about it in a way that, as someone who is sensitive to certain subjects, I felt at ease and not forced or made to feel controlled. This young lady is wise beyond her years. With her approaches and kind spirit, she certainly does deserve recognition for an awesome job, her calming and reassuring demeanor, and for having a beautiful heart.
