Yikun Ren has been a UWMC employee for over twelve years, first as a Surgical Technologist, then a practicing Registered Nurse in 2005. Her experience is extensive, and she can perform well for multiple services. Yikun's current expertise is being utilized by our Head and Neck service line as an expert scrub and circulator. She is frequently sought out by co-workers as a valued resource and has been described as a "bottomless and willing supply of information".
One peer described Yikun as "always willing to pitch in, happy to teach, efficient, patient", and "ridiculously grateful whenever you do something for her". She has been described as a team member that many rely on for her immense knowledge base and for her compassionate patient care.
