In December of 2018, my father was transferred MICU from the Emergency Department. During his time there, Mr. Mohiuddin Rasel was one of the nurses assigned to him. Mr. Mohiuddin Rasel took excellent care of my father. Not only is he highly skilled, patient and professional; he took his time to explain every detail to me. Therefore, I knew my father was getting outstanding care at the VA. Plus, it allowed me to feel confident in the caring hands and eyes that were overseeing my father.
On one of the days, when Mr. Mohiuddin Rasel was caring for my dad, he said a few words to me and I continue to use and follow these words every day. Those words were, "We will go slow." These words are serving my father well as he transitions to his next phase of life. They are also my guiding light because it allows me to pay close attention to detail when it comes to my father and his care.
Mr. Mohiuddin Rasel is a treasure to MICU and my father and I greatly appreciated everything he did for us and his care towards other Veterans as well. The light you bring cannot be unnoticed.
