We (my husband & I) had good nurses a few years ago when he was here for 10 days for pneumonia and again for his current stay, however, John was by far the most impressive. He seemed very knowledgable - he explained everything he was doing and things that he would be doing. He was very patient answering questions and took the time to pull up pictures of the heart and stents so we could really understand with visuals. He was very upbeat, very competent and drew my husband's blood with such expertise that he didn't even wake up (which has never happened before). In the short time we were together he made us feel so comfortable it was like family was taking care of my husband and me too. He came by and visited often so we never had to go look for him, call him and he never acted bothered while trying to rest. Perhaps most impressive, when he was leaving, he hugged me, which was a very genuine and loving gesture. Again, he treated us with such great care, concern and expert nursing skills so much that he felt like family. Outstanding!!
