Heather is a wonder nurse. Anytime any of us need help, she is there to the rescue. When a patient seems worried or concerned, she sits down with them and talks it through with them and makes sure they are comfortable. There have been plenty of times I have been in a stressful situation and she has jumped right in. She really makes this unit a family.

Heather King is the perfect example of a nurse who truly goes above and beyond for her team and her patients. Heather is always willing to help out when needed. I have personally witnessed her coming in on multiple occasions both day and night shift to help when we are short staffed. Every patient and their family always speak about how professional, caring and nice Heather is. Heather truly represents what it means to not only be a great person, but an excellent nurse!

My wife was admitted from JCMC to have surgery the next morning, Heather was our nurse and she was amazing. My wife was in a lot of pain. Heather soothed her with her kind words and touch. Through her professionalism, she gave care to control the pain. I only ask that nurses treat my family as they would their own. Heather exemplified the caring and skill I expected. My mother-in-law was a nurse for 30 plus years, She usually knit picks, but on this occasion, she said, "Heather is a good one!" That is pretty high praise. I can't thank her enough for how she took care of the most important person in my life. She made an awful situation more bearable. She calmed a very anxious husband. She was a blessing to us!
