Miss Grace is a very compassionate nurse. I am a coworker and I have observed her on how concerned and thoughtful she is with her patients and other nurses' patients. She goes above and beyond her nursing duty. She will stand in line to get a patients refill prescription if they are not able to get them. She coordinates countless projects for donating new clothing, toiletries, haircuts and other items for homeless and terminally ill patients.
We had a homeless patient who passed away last year. Four months before the patient passed, Miss Grace coordinated a spa day for the patient. A gentle grooming with manicure, pedicure and other amenities contributed by co-workers. The patient was so appreciative and sent "thank you" cards to us to let us know how much it meant to the patient. She deserves recognition for all she does!
