My dad has been through so many hospitals in his lifetime. But, from the VA hospital to here, the people there were in and out, not asking if we needed anything. But when we arrived here to Sunrise, Kevin has been the best nurse ever that I have seen in my whole entire life.
When my dad was in the hospital, Kevin has been in and out of the room constantly, never leaving my sight at all. Even keeping an eye on my mother all the time, and me also, asking if we are ok and do we need anything. Even answering all the questions that my mom has and I have; even if they didn't make any sense or even hard ones.
Kevin took his time answering in the best way that he could. He is awesome and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Kevin even brought me a chair so I can sit with my mom and dad in the room. That was sweet of him to do that. Honestly, no nurse has ever done that before.
Kevin deserves this DAISY Award. Kevin took a lot of the heaviness off my chest when I see how he is with my dad. I don't have to worry too much because Kevin is always there for my dad. I am extremely thankful to Kevin for that.
He's one of the best RNs I have ever some across and it shows in his work.
