Mildred had a very ill patient requiring extra care. The patient required multiple units of FFP & PRBC's. The patient's husband remained at her bedside. Just by looking at the husband you could see how upset he was. Mildred's calm and caring demeanor went a long way in alleviating the husband's concerns. Mildred stayed with the patient most of the night and was on top of all their needs. By morning, the husband was even joking with Mildred! She not only took excellent care of the patient but she took the time to see that the husband needed care also.
