Jeru, was my saving grace! I was a patient there on the Tele floor and he was assigned to my care. Jeru took immediate action. I was in the ER and was very dehydrated that the ER couldn't find a vein to run some antibiotic. The nurses in the ER tried 11 times on my left arm and tried 4 times on the right arm plus 2 times on my neck and were unsuccessful.
When going to the Tele floor Jeru was the only one to put an IV in my arm and get it started. Jeru, was so good, within 30 minutes I had fluids running and I was very happy I didn't have to go through all of that again. Jeru was my nurse for 4 days and he was awesome!
Jeru, also was my patient advocate. Jeru fought for me to stay in the room that I was in. It was 2330 and they wanted to move me and I was asleep and he told them his patient is sleeping now and it would be better to move me in the morning.
Renown is so very lucky to have nurse like him. I really appreciate all that he did for me. Jeru, is very caring kind and considerate and he explain everything before he did it which I was grateful for. Jeru is an outstanding role model in healthcare professional!
