LTJG Moran has been a magnificent representation of compassionate nursing during a time of great uncertainty.
The birth of my daughter was unexpected and wrought with difficulties. Not only did I deliver her alone and emergently, but she also suffered great complications and required emergency treatment and care in the NICU. Throughout this whole ordeal, I have been alone because my husband had to remain with our 2 small children.
LTJG Moran made me feel as though I had support throughout my hospital stay. She displayed great compassion, attentiveness, care, and love when I was most in need and vulnerable. I cannot fully place into words what or who she supported me, but I am forever grateful. She is a shining example as a nurse and sailor. LTJG Moran anticipated my needs and met them both emotionally and physically. She provided a listening ear and always made me feel as though my thoughts and feelings mattered. I thank God for placing this nurse with me when I needed her most.
