My mom was transferred from another facility's ER and immediately admitted here at West Penn. When I got here she couldn't move, speak or even open her eyes. Three days later I had my mom back to talk to and much of it was thanks to Tina. She was sweet, nurturing, caring and compassionate. My mom was always calm, and felt assured and loved even though she was in and out of being coherent. Tina took her time and showed real compassion for her job and her patient; very professional. She was part of her family and as I am working in the same field, we see people and can get lost quite often, but Tina never changed her demeanor. I will never forget what she has done or the love she showed to all of us in this most troubled time. I know our jobs are not easy, but staying a caring person makes all the difference in the world. Thanks a million!
