While visiting relatives for Thanksgiving, I was admitted to Banner Del E Webb for a small bowel obstruction. Bianca was excellent in her attentiveness, and what I saw as genuine caring for myself and my wife while I was there. She looked out for us, assisted us in all ways possible and made my horrific experience as comfortable as possible. When in a hospital (this is the first time I have ever been admitted to one) one always thinks of the medical technologies and advancements available as crucial to one's care and recovery. While extremely important, being a patient has made me realize all the more, that the genuine human care and recognition of the patient's plight, concerns, and having empathy is just as important, if not more so during recovery.
Bianca made me feel like I was the only one she was caring for and expressed true concern for not only my wellbeing but my situation as being from out of state and needing to get back home. She demonstrates exactly what a nurse should be, extremely adept at her skill, while performing it in a manner of sincere empathy. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for her caring assistance.
