I cannot express enough how awesome Elaine was for me and my family. We had our first baby girl at Methodist. I had a long labor for 36 hours. The nurses in postpartum thought our baby needed testing/ iv and antibiotics. This was a scary and emotional time for us. She has to stay for 48 hours until the blood culture was back and on my second day I was discharged and could not be with my baby.
Elaine was there with the upmost support and advised me to try to get an extra day approved with my insurance so that me and my baby could bond since we were breastfeeding and hadn't had any "relaxing" time together, which I would have never thought to do. They approved it and we finally were able to spend some quality time with our precious baby. Elaine was so kind and helpful and made sure to explain every detail to me. She was truly wonderful. I could go on for days about how well she treated me and my family.
