Stephanie came to work and noticed I was a "fall risk". I didn't know that and had been going to the bathroom by myself (taking the IV stand with me) all day, I explained that to her. She asked me to please buzz the desk and tell them I was going to the bathroom. Then to let them know again when I got back so she would know I was okay. When I reiterated that I was okay and had been doing it all day, she just looked at me like she was trying to figure out what to say. I asked if she would really like me to notify her every time, she smiled and said, "pretty please"? Of course, I had to say yes! She is the most sincerely caring and honestly sweet girl I've met in a long time. She was my nurse the night I passed a gallstone. She did everything she possibly could for me and I could tell she was truly concerned. She is not rough handling at all. She barely touched my arm and I knew to raise it. Her manners are impeccable. Everything was "yes ma'am", "no ma'am", "please", "thank you" and "you're welcome". She even apologized when there would be a little stinging while doing something with the IV. She explained everything she did without being asked to. Thank you, Stephanie.
