Miranda and I cared for a patient who was going to miss her baby's 1st birthday party due to being in the hospital. Miranda organized a birthday party for the patient's baby in the patient's room so she would not have to miss out. Miranda came to the hospital on her day off, provided the food, cake, and presents. I am so proud to have her as a team member, mentor, and beautiful example of a nurse.
