Katelyn is willing to offer to take the most critical patients or the admissions or transfer, or whatever is needed so her orientee can get the experiences they need to become a great ICU nurse. She is always willing to help others and goes above and beyond with her patients every day.
Katelyn has a kind and compassionate heart for her patients, and she is especially good with family members who are struggling with the severity of their loved one's illness. She takes time to get to know her patients and their families and they feel cared for when Katelyn is their assigned nurse.
Katelyn is a relatively new ICU nurse, but she wants to provide great care to her patients and continue to learn and grow, so she just passed her CCRN certification. I know that when I work with her, her patients are going to receive great care. She manages her time well, and she will support the other nurses and staff around her.
