Tracy went above and beyond for her patient she cared for this past weekend and transferred a patient to ICU who later found out, was experiencing a small bowel obstruction. Tracy reached out to numerous doctors about the state of her patient being lethargic and in extreme pain and was in the hopes of trying to relieve some of her patient's symptoms. Tracy decided that her patient, who was admitted for a herniated colostomy, wasn't receiving the proper care that our floor could give her and began the steps towards the new diagnosis of a small bowel obstruction. Without Tracy's extraordinary patient care, her patient could have very well passed away. Thank you, Tracy, for going above and beyond your call of duty!
