Nurse Lynn Conde showed complete competence, compassion and professionalism when dealing with an emergent situation with a patient in complete panic.
The patient arrived in a fetal position and Lynn took complete control in getting the patient comfortable and calm.
The patient became angry and agitated. Lynn diffused the anger by remaining calm, getting the patient the meds he needed, made calls to the patient’s Psychiatrist, and basically was a very nurturing shoulder for an extremely upset patient.
Lynn exemplified what nursing is.
