We believe Connie to be one of the most selfless nurses that we have the privilege to work beside. She is genuine and caring. She is a true patient advocate. Connie always offers to help the Respiratory Therapy department when we are short staffed, busy, or unable to obtain a venous blood sample. She always steps up to help us, even in her busiest times. Connie is knowledgeable and helps everyone around her. The RT department has recently started performing venipunctures and Connie has been an excellent resource and educator in the process. She offers to help us if we have a very sick patient who is a difficult draw and she never complains or acts upset with us. Connie is truly a wonderful nurse and a pleasure to work with. RT staff compliment her continuously and her work ethic is impeccable. If we were to define the perfect nurse, Connie Bedwell would be it! Connie is the Florence Nightingale of Greene County General Hospital. We thank her for her hard work and dedication to the Emergency Department and all the support she shows to Respiratory Therapy.
