Geri went above and beyond her job duties. When my daughter was five months pregnant, the doctors told her that her baby had an enlarged heart. After finding this out, the doctors closely monitored her and the baby. Everything was good, until she got to the eight month of her pregnancy. She went into labor and delivered the baby to find that the baby had died. Geri took it upon herself to make the baby presentable to my daughter by cleaning her, dressing her and wrapping her in a receiving blanket. Before bringing her to my daughter, Geri had the baby’s picture made. We were allowed to spend as much time as we needed with the baby. Geri made what could have been a horrible experience a little bit easier on our family.
