Janna Morgan, RN, Med. / Surg., Lakeshore campus, has been honored with the DAISY Award. A Nurse Practioner at the Lakeshore Campus nominated Janna for her commitment to compassion.
Janna showed caring and compassion for a transfusion patient who was receiving treatment on his birthday – July 4. Janna decorated his room with a 4th of July theme and even had a special birthday treat, placemat and candle placed on his lunch tray. The patient was so excited for this extra special tribute that he asked to take the decorations home. Janna is an exceptional nurse always providing excellent patient care while going that extra mile to make her patients feel special. Congratulations Janna!
