Karen Koser, RN, Ortho Neuro, was recognized for her excellent nursing skills and dedication to providing outstanding care to her patients. Karen has demonstrated compassion and provided emotional support for patients when they have been at their most vulnerable.

For instance, Karen, after spending a significant of time at the bedside with a particular patient during the course of her shift, stayed late after her shift had ended one night to accompany a woman to CT scan offering continued support.

And finally, another patient, after his knee replacement, writes that this nurse, “made a significant contribution to my morale with her own extraordinary, uplifting attitude of patient care…extending her natural, warm dedicated spirit into my life that strengthened my desire to use ‘her’ inner beauty to help heal my hurts.
