Urszula was nominated by one of Mount Sinai's physicians. In his words,

"Urszula really puts her patients first. I have worked with her for several months and have always been impressed with the care she surrounds her patients with, in a professional yet warm and friendly manner no matter how stressful her day is.

A patient was directly admitted with suspected stroke from the clinic to the medical floor on 6 North. I decided to transfer the patient to the telemetry floor, a process that can take some time. Although it was about the time for her to leave for the day, she volunteered to go the extra mile in helping this patient with blood work that was ordered, sending samples to the lab in order to not delay patient care and safety while waiting for a bed on the telemetry unit.

This act was so appreciated by the patient and family as well, and is only one of many incidents where I witnessed her professional and highly responsible attitude towards her patients. Thank you, Urszula!"
