Last Thursday my aunt had her surgery and understandably, she was very nervous and her blood pressure was a little high. Vivian Lew, the ASU nurse was so wonderful. She made my aunt laugh and that brought her blood pressure down. Vivian was delightful, considerate, calm and kind. Her personality alone makes a person feel at ease. She was also very thorough and made every effort to make my aunt comfortable and warm. She also explained everything in detail so we knew what to expect next. She took care of my aunt like a mother would a child. She was also hospitable and got chairs for me and my aunt’s sister to sit while we wait for the surgeons. When it was time to hand off to another staff member, she introduced us to that staff member and explained their role. I’m sure you already know that Vivian is a gem!
