Among those comments and recognition from our families were the following:

"Thank you so much for your amazing care of our son during his short visit in early July. Big thanks to Adri - you were so kind and very patient with us. We appreciate all you did for us."

"Adri stood out among the nursing staff at the neonatal ward. She took her time to provide us information; was highly thorough; compassionate. In addition to being great at her job it was tremendously comforting to see that our little one was treated so caringly and patiently by her. She is the utmost example of what a top nurse should be; 100% technically competent with sincere love, caring for patients, both baby and parents."

I have worked side by side with Adri on a few occasions in NICU and can truly appreciate and see the genuine care that she provides for all her patients and their families. I have been impressed with her knowledge and eagerness to learn more and better herself as this unit has very quickly progressed in the level of care and volume of patients.

Adri has also volunteered to work with the team leaders to help improve floating/cross-training for our NICU team. She is very deserving and it is a privilege to nominate this amazing MMC TEAM member for the DAISY Award!
