Colleen is very attentive and careful about her patients during invasive procedures. As we know all our patients are sick and scared from the procedures and what is going on in their life. Colleen makes sure to explain to the patient and their family in a way they can understand it before and during the procedures. She calms them down when they are stressed.
Colleen takes patient care responsibility to help and facilitate in any ways to reach their needs, for example:
-She helped an elderly patient with terminal illness to get home care assistance.
-She helped another patient to speed up his lab and all the tests in order to start his treatment without delay.
-We had a young patient for paracentisis, he was so scared and his blood pressure was so high. She started talking to him and brought his blood pressure down by just holding his hand, looking into his eyes and talking to him so we could proceed with the procedure.
-These are just a few examples of Colleen’s patient care. She is a pleasure to work with and always is in a good mood!
