Our Campus is proud to announce Patsy Marburger, R.N., who works in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as recipient of the DAISY Award, which recognizes one nurse each month for going above and beyond to deliver exceptional patient care.

“I’m so thankful for the job I have and that I get to care for these beautiful babies every day,” said Marburger. “I always try to focus on providing care for the whole family, including the parents and relatives. I think that level of involvement allows them to be confident that we are providing their baby with high-quality care.”

Colleagues expressed excitement over Marburger’s recognition, mentioning she deserved it for all of her hard work in the NICU over the past few years.

The mother who nominated Marburger wrote on the nomination form, “Her dedication to my daughter’s wellbeing is unparalleled. She doesn’t treat her like any other patient, but as if my baby is one of her own. She is very supportive of my husband and me, and makes us feel comfortable leaving each day knowing McKenzie is in her care.”
