I was put in a room after my kidney transplant. Tammy introduced herself, did a great job each time she came into my room, and also took time to get to know me, my family, and what we were about. She was very encouraging, made me feel good about myself, always told me I was beautiful, and encouraged my walking with positive comments. Every time we were together, she continued to tell me I was doing terrific.
Being covered with such love made me motivated to do well for her. I was always so pleased when it was Tammy's shift. Hard worker, very happy, very positive, very informative. I felt totally confident with the information she gave me and each day I felt more secure that even though kidney transplant takes a lot of daily work, I can do this. She went above and beyond with everything she did with us. A terrific woman, a wonderful example for others, one heck of a nurse. I count Tammy as a great blessing, and I had the best healing experience at INTEGRIS Baptist!
