Several years ago I was diagnosed with diabetes. The Diabetes Educator at Ede, Lisa Quan was so Awesome, that at the age of 42, I went back to school got my RN and became a diabetes educator myself. More recently my father developed Diabetes. I brought him to Eden Medical Center and surprisingly Lisa Quan was his diabetes educator too. She gave him all the wonderful care, attention and education she gave to me all those years ago. She patiently answered all his questions, taught him how to administer insulin and was there for us every step of the way. Lisa's care and educational abilities are inspirational to other nurses as well as patients and their families. She is a shining example of how nurses should treat their patients. The diabetic patients at Eden are truly blessed to have this amazing nurse to care for them.
