Glennetta has done an exceptional job in her role as Clinical Educator. She recently offered a simulation on post-partum hemorrhage for the nurses, MDs, anesthesia and scrub techs. She went the extra mile by meeting all the criteria to offer nursing contact hours through the ANCC-Midwest MSD. This is a huge task on top of the simulation coordination.
Glenna also moved the high fidelity simulation mannequin to the maternity area patient room and then as part of the hemorrhage scenario to a C-section OR. This required much work due to the technical support. The evaluations of her course were exceptional. Glennetta excelled in so many ways for this course! This truly makes a difference in the quality of care, the safety of the patients and the competency of many levels of St. Luke's staff.
