Casey is an outstanding role model for the Nursing profession. She is able to remain calm in very stressful situations (multiple rapid responses, codes, short staffing). She always finds a way to be helpful while working as a Charge RN or a Staff RN. She is a great resource and team player.

Casey was an excellent preceptor during my transition to night shifts as a new-grad and new-hire. I always felt comfortable going to Casey with any questions, and she was always enthusiastic about providing me with an answer or helping me learn how to get answers on my own. My first night on my own as a nurse was a very smooth transition; although I was very anxious, I was able to organize my night and complete my tasks in a safe and efficient manner, and by the end of the night, I knew I was going to be OK on my own. I owe a lot of that to Casey. She gave me consistent support while pushing me to become more independent and autonomous with my work. She always provided safe, courteous patient care, and explained the rationale behind her actions in clear and effective ways. In addition, she treats all patients equally and with a high level of respect.
Over a year later, Casey is still an excellent resource and support system whenever I need one. I have been very impressed with her ability to juggle multiple, difficult tasks in a safe, efficient, and professional way. She is one of my role models, and I feel very lucky I was able to learn from her.
