Ed is everything a nurse attempts to achieve in their career. He was on top of his game, critically thinking, calm, clear, and concise. He has professional humor, a nurse's best quality. He kept us as a family updated, making sure we were comfortable. My mom says, "He was a sweetheart and easy going".

Ed was the definition of continuity of care. He did not make my mom feel like a patient. She felt safe when he was taking care of her. His care was so excellent. My mom said she never felt like an inconvenience when he was taking care of her. She feels Ed deserves recognition for his great care, knowledge, humor, and loving care. I would like to recognize Ed as a patient advocate and for providing superb patient/family centered care.
