David De Vary is an outstanding, compassionate, and safe nurse. David always finds the time to walk around to check on the other nurses to see if anyone needs help. David also has an attachment to his patients so when he comes back to work and has a new team he still tries to help his past patients. Last week I had rooms 12-19 and all my patients were heavy and when David saw me collecting the supplies from the omnicell, he immediately noticed I had an ostomy appliance supplies and offered help. I informed him that I'll be fine since I'm sure he is busy. When I arrived to the room to change the appliance David was waiting outside the door to help. Tonight David is the Charge Nurse and was told by the family of a dying patient how compassionate he is.

We are very lucky to have David De Vary on MS4. He never takes shortcuts always tries to teach and he is very safe and all patients love him.
