My daughter has spent most of her life in the hospital dealing with a variety of very confusing and complicated issues. There just never seems to be a very clear answer to anything with her. Needless to say, it's been a very frustrating and stressful year for me. Deanne has been one of our primary nurses for quite some time now and she has helped us in more ways than she probably even realizes. She has celebrated and cried with us, and advocated for us. She has also felt our frustration at times and helped explain and clarify things. She listens to us vent and always keeps her cool! She has helped us talk through tough situations and rationalize our thoughts. Deanne has really gotten to know our family, our wishes, and goals for our daughter, and then helps us fight for them! Simply put, she goes above and beyond! While we have had many wonderful nurses, I always look forward to the days I know that Deanne is working with us. We are so thankful to have her as our nurse!
