My husband, T, was in a horrific motorcycle accident due to another driver failing to yield to a right of way. Three out of four limbs were broken. The first thing that Tram did was suggest he get a private room, T has leukemia so this would reduce the number of germs he would be exposed to during a critical healing period. The second thing was her infectious smile and humble service. No matter what was needed, she made sure that my husband got it and got it quickly (including going above and beyond to scratch his itchy nose, head or ankles). My husband kept saying, "She is the only one doing it correctly".
Finally, and to me, most importantly, was during T's first rehab day. Three orthopedic rehab specialists came in and said T needed to do rehab on a "platform walker". Tram very respectfully questioned this decision because she knew he had just had 2 days of surgeries (hours long) for his two broken wrists and broken knee-none of which should have had weight bearing exercises. Because of the type of wrist damage, he should not put any weight on his elbows or forearms. Because Tram did not hesitate to question, I know this saved my husband from future surgeries and pain. Tram is the DAISY in our lives as well as others. Thank you.
