Melissa was a critical component in getting my dad, who is frail, back on track and out of the ICU into a general hospital room. She is caring, concerned and respectful to family and staff and it wasn't like she gave my dad care because she liked this, she treated all ICU patients that way. I really appreciated her eye contact and expression of my dad's critical situation in terms we could understand. She gave my sister straight advice - to come from Canada. She worked diligently and respectfully to include other staff in caring for my dad - again eye contact and respect for other staff to build a team environment dedicated to positive outcomes. She is awesome.
