Wanda is an outstanding nurse. She is very professional, knowledgeable and understanding. She not only has the best interest of the patients in mind, but treats the family members with the utmost courtesy and helpfulness. The other nurses and aids respect her very much as well.

Wanda goes above and beyond on a daily basis. She always offers to help anyone that needs it, often leaving her own work behind to help out her peers.

Wanda has an incredible work ethic. She will come in extra because of a staffing crunch and many weeks will work overtime to assure coverage on the schedule.

Wanda is recognized by her patients on a frequent basis. The compliments that she receives the most is that "she went out of her way". Many times patients will ask that she is their nurse, Wanda goes out of her way to develop a rapport with the patients and families.

Wanda is an extraordinary nurse, well deserving, and I will be honored to present her the DAISY Award.
