Mark was the night nurse when my father was a patient on hospice. My mother has related to all of us the level of compassionate care that Mark demonstrated to her husband. Additionally, she was very impressed that he made a point of checking on her in the morning before ending his shift. On the day my father died, Mark noted a change in his breathing around 4am and something in their conversation caused mom to change her mind about going home for a shower. Had she left the hospital dad would have died in her absence. She (and all of us) will be forever grateful that she was there holding his hand as he passed and has no regrets. Thanks Mark!
