My dad was admitted to the Medical ICU unexpectedly shortly before the new year. It was such an unsettling moment when a close family member is in ICU. We don't know what to expect. The entire staff from ICU was very very helpful, which put us at ease. I want to especially thank the nurse Eddie Valentine. Although he was very busy, he always took the time to make sure all our needs are were taken care of. He is very organized and proficient in what he does. He even shared stories and jokes to make us feel more cheerful. It was such a special moment, not only because we spent the new year in the ICU, but we also had a very special time, a totally different experience than what I would have expected in an ICU. My dad has high standards. Even he says Eddie was really good. I know that means he must be exceptional! I want to express my gratitude to everyone who worked and helped my father during his stay. My ultimate respect to all the doctors, nurses, and staff that devoted their holidays to work and to their patients. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
