Clinical Skills – Aaron is an exceptional clinician! He is a resource to all of the ED staff regarding patient care, policies, procedures, decision making. He helps all without ever making others feel inferior or stupid. I have observed him with families after a patient death. He is helpful, empathetic and never acts rushed. The family felt they were the most important people in his workload and thanked him repeatedly for his care of them and their loved one.
Exemplary Service – He is flexible and never complains about his work assignment. He will accept extra patients in his workload and still finds time to help others. He always helps get medic patients settled even if not his room and quietly does many orders for other RN’s.
Continued Commitment to Excellence – Aaron precepts new nurses and students. He teaches them technical skills, plus how to critically think and how to advocate for the patient and what is in their best interest. He is always respectful about it, but is insistent that the needs of the patient are always the top priority.
Aaron is a hard worker with a strong commitment to excellence for his patients. He is cheerful, doesn’t complain and is always willing to help and teach others. A “GOLD STANDARD” NURSE.
