Ashley has gone above and beyond to keep us informed about our son. We have had 3 appointments to talk to with the doctors and every time it never came to be. My husband and I were just so upset not knowing what was going on with our son. Ashley eased our minds by telling us what tests he was having, was it tested with blood or spinal fluid, how long the test would take to come back, the results of the tests that came back and past tests and what the tests were for. We feel so blessed to have Ashely as our son's nurse. Honestly, thanks to Ashley, we are feeling much better about our son's care. She has taken time to show and explain things to us. Ashely is so very special to our family because she cares. That might not sound like much to you, but it means the world to us! She goes out of her way to get us in the waiting room. She tells us every day what the doctor's treatment is, always asking if we want her to set up an appointment to meet with them. She is very patient while answering tons of questions we have every day. She even got me a comfy chair to spend the night in. She explains everything to our son before she does it. She often stops what she is doing to check on our son. Ashley was going to be off for 4 days and she stopped in to see how he was doing. When our son squeezed both our hands today, she got teary-eyed. Now don't even try to tell me that's just a nurse doing their job. That is someone who truly cares for their patients.
