I was a patient in your ATA unit and would like to commend you and your staff on the excellent patient and family care and attention given. Please be aware all that I came in contact with in your unit were courteous and professional, but I must simply single out Cindy P., RN, as outstanding.
Cindy was what I, as an old and hospital wise retired nurse, proudly label
an “old time nurse” when patient centered care was #1 on the agenda. She was
professional, knowledgeable, caring, attentive, courteous, thorough, and sensitive to
patient and family needs and /or limitations. Other adjectives can be applied to Cindy,
but for lack of space, will stop there. I think it gives you an adequate idea of how much
we appreciate her care and ministrations. As a retired nurse (anesthetist)
who can and has, on occasion, been critical of the “newer breed of nurses”, find nothing
but good to say about Cindy’s expertise and people skills.
