On behalf of our department staff, we would like to recognize Veronica. She remains as an integral pillar to our team. A stronghold to the cohesiveness of the unit. Day in and day out, we get compliments from our patients on how friendly, compassionate, and caring our unit is, and it truly reflects from our leadership in her. Time and time again she makes herself readily available to her staff, never with question, or judgment, and always with her undivided attention. Same goes for our patients and families. It is not rare to see her in a patient's room making herself available in such difficult times; the same goes for her staff. We cannot express enough the incredible impact she has had on our team and how it reflects toward our patient care. Her attitude as a person, friend and leader is infectious and always makes hugs and smiles welcome.
