Danielle is an exceptional clinician. She is the nurse whom you would choose to take care of your family and friends. Danielle is calm, compassionate and can make you feel safe in even the most stressful situations. From the preoperative stage, Danielle invests herself in developing a special connection with her patients and their caregivers. She can assess their mood and respond appropriately.
What makes Danielle special, is her unique ability to express her empathy and concern for her patient's well-being through advocacy. She consistently goes above and beyond in coordinating care to ensure smooth transitions in care. Danielle is focused on improving the patients' experiences, thus alleviating their anxieties. She does not ask for any recognition. Without the patient's knowledge, Danielle works tirelessly to schedule physical therapy, arrange transportation, and review prescriptions pre-operatively to ensure adequate post-operative pain control. Danielle communicates with the multidisciplinary team to express the patient's wishes and ensures that they are kept informed and calm. She fearlessly advocates for all patients and their caregivers, despite any obstacles.
